WILSON, Gordon Stewart

June 6, 1945 – June 5, 2021

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Gordon Stewart Wilson on June 5, 2021 in Cochrane, Alberta.

Gord will be deeply missed by his loving wife Janet Wilson; his four girls, Lori Trent (Darren), Kerri Sawka (Dave), Dana Jones (Mark), and Suzanne Hilson (Kevin); and his 7 grandchildren, Michaela, Cale, Taylor, Tanner, Parker, Hunter and Grady. Gord was predeceased by his mother Mildred.

Gordon was born June 6, 1945 in Newbiggen-by-the-Sea, England and immigrated to Canada at the age of two. Gord joined the Calgary Fire Department on October 21, 1974 and retired as a Lieutenant on June 7, 2005 after 30 years of dedicated service. Gord loved to travel and spent his winters in Mexico and summers with family in Sicamous.
