SOOS, Beverly Dianne

January, 17, 1948 – December 2, 2015

On December 2, 2015, Beverly Dianne Soos (nee Puddicombe) passed on to join God as a new angel.
Bev, the sweetest and kindest soul, continues to be deeply loved by her husband, Jim; son, Colin (MaryAnn and sons, Austin and Nate); and daughter, Karmelle (Jeff and son, Hunter and daughter, Elle). Bev was a tough competitor with her fight with cancer never giving up, never losing her sense of humour and always being kind and caring. We want to thank the entire medical care team at the Tom Baker Hospital, the Palliative Care team; and the absolutely amazing individuals who comprise the Rosedale Hospice. We appreciate every act of kindness by all to Bev and to each family member. A Celebration of Bev’s Life will be held at The Links of GlenEagles ( 100 Gleneagles Drive, Cochrane ) on Friday, December 11, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. Donations may be made in lieu of flowers to THE ALBERTA CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL ( 2888 Shaganappi Trail, NW, Calgary AB T3B 6A8 ) or as Bev’s greatest joys were her grandchildren

I will also miss Bev, she was a very wonderful employee and friend, always pleasant, friendly and sincere in everything she did. She will be greatly missed by everyone at River Heights, our staff and myself.

I sincerely hope we can find better ways to deal with Cancer, sooner, to prevent similar tragedy.

Bev will definitely make a great angel, always looking out for others.

    Uncle Jim,
words can not describe how sorry I am for the loss to you and your family. Aunty Bev will be missed. I believe her and Dad are both together and wanting us all to get through our sorrow. The tears come at the wierdest times and you need to let them flow. Tears for me are a part of my healing. I love you and wish there was more that I could say to help.

To Jim and your family, and to the Puddicombe family, It has taken me a while to bring myself to terms, and typing a note to you all. I shall miss Bev a whole bunch. She wasn’t feeling well when she came to Parksville to help me get Brenda a safe place to live. Her determination with the Social Workers, and Brenda’s Dr., made this happen. She cut through all the bureaucracy. Even though it was difficult emotionally, and her not feeling well, Bev loved her sister so much, it happened. I speak also for Brenda, saying that Brenda is content now with no stress, and no needs.
Bev will always be in my heart, and I shall miss her friendship. She was very brave. I will always love her, as a friend, and best of all as my ‘sister’. xoxoxo Hugs to you all, Dale
