SHARP, Miriam Jane (nee O’Sullivan)

November 25, 1953 – April 14, 2022

It is with great sadness we mourn the passing of Miriam Jane Sharp on Thursday, April 14, 2022, in Calgary, Alberta, at the age of 68. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Miriam was born in Toronto, Ontario and lived there most of her life. She moved to Cochrane, Alberta with her husband Harry in 2021. Her servant heart poured out kindness to anyone who entered her home. She welcomed everyone to have a seat at her family table and always took time to listen to others. She had a one-of-a-kind smile that we will always remember.

Miriam is survived by her husband of 51 years, Harry Sharp; daughters, Mary Sharp, Angela (Richard) Graye; son, Harry Sharp Jr.; grandchildren, Jessica, Alyssa, Skye, Matthew, Marcus, Alexandra, Lily, Justin and Mya; great-grandchildren, Damian and Benjamin; siblings, Fred, Charlie, Eileen, Mary, and Robert; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews; and many extended family and friends in Ontario. Miriam was predeceased by her mother and father, Hazel and Charles O’Sullivan.

A Celebration of Miriam’s Life will take place at Cochrane Alliance Church (902 Glenbow Dr, Cochrane, AB T4C 1J2) on Friday, April 22 at 1:00 p.m. Mountain Time

Condolences to family and friends. Miriam was a kind and loving person that always welcomed us kids in her home. I have many fond memories of summer barbecues and hanging out at her place when we were visiting Aunty Brenda.
