Dear Marion, Brenda, Eddie, and families,
Kurt and the Scott family was such a large part of my childhood and adolescence. I have so many memories of his big personality filling the room – his laugh – his infectious smile – and his genuine love and protection of those around him. Whether at the lake or in town, Kurt was usually at the centre of it all. Even though only a year older, I looked up to him. He had a personality that people gravitated to. I am thankful that I had him in my life. There are no words that can fill the deep void that is left in this world with his passing. I thank you all for giving Kurt to us – for allowing me to be apart of your family while growing up. And even though I will not be able to travel to Calgary – my heart, love and all the great memories that Kurt gave me will be there.
Our deepest condolences Marion and family.

Dear Scott family, I was so sorry to hear about Kurt’s passing and I want to send you my condolences. I can’t bear to think about what you are going through right now and it is heartbreaking. Kurt was one of my best friends growing up and we spent countless hours at “Moms” house or cabin having the time of our lives. I am so happy I was able to see Kurt over the Christmas holidays and see how grown up Zoe and Jake were since the last time I saw them. Even though it had been a while since Kurt and I had seen each other it was like no time had passed at all. We just picked up where we left off joking and reminiscing about the good old days. It was just the kind of guy he was with a big personality and a great sense of humour. I will miss my old friend dearly and I am so sorry for your loss.
We are so sorry to hear about Kurty. Our deepest sympathies to your families.
