Rest in peace mother. I remember how you could whip up a delicious meal with very few ingredients. How at Christmas there were many salads and sides and desserts along with the whole main course meal that you all prepared yourself. How you sewed me the best back to school outfits, the red hooded jacket and pants was the best, and the pink frilly Christmas dress for the concert. You will always be remembered for how great your hair always looked! No excuse to look like a slouch! And when I would skip high school you would take me to The Skillet at Zellers for a peach juice and 7up drink. How well you took care of dad especially near the end. There are so many more memories, that is the legacy you have left with me, your daughter Nancy.

My deepest sympathy to the Florence’s loves ones.

She was my wife’s (Nancy Neyedly) mom, and I met her the summer of 1999. Florence was endlessly kind to me; she made me feel more welcome in her own home than myself in my own, and trusted me beyond what I had earned.

I am certain that of all the duties faced by parents, Florence most certainly did everything right in raising my wife – the incredibly wise, caring, and empathetic light of my life today.

I have also learned so much more about Florence’s life through the photos, stories, and Esterhazy journals that Fae (Florence’s oldest daughter) carefully organized and shared.

With all of my love, Kevin Croft
