PETERSON, James Ronald

July 26, 1974 – March 28, 2021

In loving Memory of James Ronald Peterson

Beloved father of Jace, Jamie (Keenen), Tamara, Christopher, and William Twoyoungmen; grandfather of Theo, and Angel Noah; son of Judy Rogers and Karl Peterson; brother of Rick Peterson (Tania); uncle of numerous nieces and nephews; nephew and cousin to many aunts, uncles, cousins from the Nichols and Peterson families.

James will fondly be remembered for his deep love of his children; and his extended family who he welcomed into his home as his own. James had an intense attachment to animals and was rarely seen without a dog’s tail wagging beside him. He could pick up his guitar and strum his tunes with ease. His love of the outdoors had him live most of his life in the country where he felt great joy in his attachment to nature.

James, you will be sadly missed by your children, family, and friends and forever held in our hearts until one day we meet again.”

I did not get to know James really well because of living a distance away. One of my fondest memories is of Jamie at about the age of two. He thought he could put the car window up and down by flicking his fingers at it. Mom or dad were pushing the remote up and down! We had a good laugh over that!
I know how much mom and dad and his children, brother and friends will miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Love from auntie Mary Jane. Jamie is now in the arms of the angels and will be watching over us all.

I remember Jamie with fondness at Three Hills School and knowing his children at Glenbow School at Cochrane. I am sorry he has passed away at such a young age.
My condolences to Jace, Jamie, Tamara, Chris, and William and his mother Judy.

I just heard the news. Rest peacefully James until we meet again. You showed me how to run that backhoe when you guys were living at the old Fort Chiniki gas station. My condolences to his father Carl his brother Rick and his children and his mother.
