    The Golden Chain of Friendship

    Frienship is a golden chain,
The links are friends so dear,
And like a rare and precious jewel
    It’s treasured more each year…
    It’s clasped together firmly
With a love that’s deep and true,
And it’s rich with happy memories
    And fond recollectiions, to…
    Time can’t destroy its beauty
For, as long as memory lives,
    Years can’t erase the pleasure
That the joy of friendship gives…
And the golden chain of friendship
Is a strong and blessed tie
    Binding kindred hearts together
As the years go passing by.

Elizabeth was the flower girl at my parents’
wedding, so she was here to be my cousin, my
friend, and my “big sister” along with her
sisters for all my life. I have missed her
since she has not been well. Eleanor H.

    Margaret [and Stephen]–

Margaret, you won’t remember me, I’m sure, but you and I were on Staff together at St. Matthew’s School for a very brief time in the Spring of 1987 or 1988.I was in om a mat leave for the Guidance Counsellor, and part of my assignment was to assist you in the Library. We often chuckled over the coincidence of having two unrelated Peaches at the school at the same time.

Anyway, Margaret, I was sorry to read of your mother-in-law’s passing, and as I’d been through this myself last year, I wanted to extend my condolences to you and Stephen at this sad time in your life.

Take care of each other, and cherish the memories. God bless!

    Pat Peach
