John William Ward, beloved husband of Glenda for 60 years, passed away at the Rockyview General Hospital on October 29, 2015 at the age of 83. Besides his wife, John will be lovingly remembered by his children: Tim ( Wenda ), Marianne ( Frank ) Suarez and Elizabeth ( Dean ) McCarthy; grandchildren: Kristen ( Eli ) White, Jennifer ( Jason ) Page, Amy Suarez, Ashley ( Drew ) Haney and Haley McCarthy; sisters, Betty Flower and Leah ( Ed ) Hutsell; longtime friend Steve Brodeur; as well as a circle of other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of John’s Life will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church ( 3704 – 37 Street S.W., Calgary ) on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at 12:00 P.M. Special thanks to the staff of unit 73 at the Rockyview Hospital for their care and compassion during his final days.
Flowers gratefully declined.
