Nick Vaccaro

July 19, 1975 – March 18, 2015

It is with great sadness that we

announce the passing of Nick on

March 18th. He was a husband, father, brother,

son and friend, born and raised in Calgary. He

was a strong and dedicated man, who loved and

cherished his family and friends. He was passionate,

honest, energetic and most of all, full of life.

From a very young age, Nick had a passion for construction,

hunting, fishing, camping, and music.

His true passion was hosting outdoor gatherings

for family and friends that always involved the

biggest bonfires, his signature barbecue and plenty

of food. His hilarious, determined and loving

spirit brought laughter to everyone he knew, and

will live on in the hearts of his family and friends,

especially his wife, Michelle and their sons, Elijah

and Antonio, whom he adored very much.

Besides his beloved wife Michelle and their 2

sons, Nick leaves behind his loving parents Luigi

and Cristina Vaccaro; and siblings, Marilena (Dan)

Giercke; Franca (Johnny) Ryman; Jordan (Gabriella)

Vaccaro and nieces and nephews: Angelina

and Brendan Giercke; Adamo, Valentina, Catalina,

Amanda and Vanessa Ryman; Luca, Marcello and

Massimo Vaccaro; and numerous aunts, uncles

and cousins. Nick was predeceased by his grandparents

Nick and Maria Vaccaro and Nicola and

Assunta Massarelli.

Nick will be mostly remembered for his huge

heart and giving nature, and will be missed by all

who knew him.

A Celebration of Nick’s life will be held at North West Family Church (10307 Eamon Rd N.W., Calgary, Alberta ), on Friday March 27, 2015 at 10:30 AM. Visitation will take place at North West Family Church, prior to the service

at 9:30 A.M.
