Lilian Shaw passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2021, at Foothills Hospital in Calgary, at age 73, after a long battle with Chronic Kidney Disease.

Lilian was born in Bolton, Lancashire, England and grew up in Bolton with parents, James and Hilda Hurst. At age 16 she moved to Nottingham, England meeting, falling in love, and marrying Barrie Shaw. And being married for 55 and a half years.

Lilian is lovingly remembered by her husband, Barrie Shaw; her son, Glenn (Carrie); grandsons, Graham and Justin; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mick and Pat, Denise and Paul, Brian and Janet, Treca and John, Alan and Shirley; Sue and Kelvin, as well as friends, Sue and Kelly Harbidge; and many more friends. Lilian was predeceased by her father James and her mother Hilda Hurst.

The family welcomes you to a public visitation at Cochrane Country Funeral Home (#6 – Sundance Mall, 402 Railway Street West, Cochrane) on Monday, August 16, 2021 at 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.

There will be a Celebration of Life at All Saints Anglican Church (404, 4

Ave. N, Cochrane) on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. Masks are required at the church.
