It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Edward (Ted) Peterson. Ted was born in Calgary on June 20, 1933. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Jimmie, daughters Dawn Nash (Michael Jeffrey), Kelly Medd and Patti (Ken) Faulkner. He was the proud grandpa to Kaylyn Demyen, Jared Nash, Evan and Brilee Medd, and Brendan and Shea Faulkner. Ted was also blessed with two great grandsons Jacob and Carter Demyen. Due to health reasons Ted retired as captain from the Calgary Fire Department in 1988. He always said it was the best job and loved going to work. Ted had a love for Willy’s Jeeps and enjoyed tinkering in the garage. He is predeceased by his parents Lou and Azalia Peterson, his brother Gary, and his beloved Sheltie Maverick. Ted was a very loved man and will be dearly missed.

A Memorial Service will be held at Leyden’s Funeral Home ( 304 – 18th Avenue S.W., Calgary )

on Monday January 12, 2015 at 11:00 A.M.

His family would like to thank the amazing staff at Unit 93 of the Rockyview Hospital for their tender care.
