Gwynny passed away at home on Tuesday, October 2, 2012. Lovingly remembered by her husband James, grandson Lance (Claire) Hilton, great granddaughters Coralee and Mackenzie, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, as well as a circle of other relatives and friends. As the matriarch of our family she was always prepared to lend a helping hand, always there in one’s time of need, always available to serve her family and friends. Her passing will leave a large hole in our family that will never be filled. Gwynny will be missed by all, she is off to a better place. Cremation has taken place. At Gwynny’s request, no formal service will be held. Internment will take place at the Lower Cochrane Cemetery at a later date. If friends so desire, memorial tributes in Gwynny’s memory may be made to the Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation, The Alberta Kidney Foundation, or The Alberta Diabetes To order memorial trees or send flowers to the family in memory of Gwyneth Wynn (Nee Williams) Mcrae, please visit our flower store.
