It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dear mother. She will be missed by her children- Rick, Rod (Teresa), Reg (Teresa), and Chellaine (Carey). She treasured her grandchildren – Andrea, Evan, Michael, Jacklin, Emily, Kyle, Brayden and Dylan. She leaves behind Sister Ruth, brother Gordon (Marilyn) and many wonderful friends, nieces and nephews. We were all blessed to have known her and been touched by such an incredibly strong and loving woman; she will be missed by all who knew her. An ALOHA CELEBRATION of her Life will be held at Renfrew United Church,956 Radnor Ave. N.E., Calgary on Friday March 11th at: 1:00 pm. We will be dressed for the Tropics to remember Marlene’s love of travel. Flowers gratefully declined, Marlene would prefer donations to the Agape Hospice (1302-8 Ave. NW, Calgary, AB T2N 1B8). Agape’s caring staff went above and beyond making the end of Mom’s journey so comforting and provided not a place to stay but a home and friendship.
