April 11, 1942 – January 19, 2018
Ronald Andrew Ladouceur, FCGA, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 19, 2018 at The Foothills Hospital in Calgary. He was born on April 11, 1942, in Montreal, to Roland and Salomé Ladouceur. He was an officer in the Royal Canadian Air Force from 1958-1966 and served as a Navigator. He attended McGill University and Sir George Williams University and worked at Syncrude Canada Limited in Fort McMurray for 17 years. He was President of CGA Alberta from 1991-1992 and obtained his certification for Financial Planning in 2002.
Ronald was a loving and generous man who enjoyed traveling, sports and loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Francine; his daughters, Sandra-Danielle (Kevin) and Susan; his grandchildren, Zach, Sophia and Simone; his brother Phil (Ann); and his sister Beverley (Eddy).
Ronald will be buried at Queens Park Cemetery in Calgary in the Field of Honour on Friday, February 2, 2018. Following his burial, his family will hold an intimate celebration of life. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be sent to Families Matter Society of Calgary.
