Krys Anne Bunker

A long-time Bearspaw resident, Krys passed away peacefully at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary AB. The family expresses heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated care teams at Cochrane Home Care, Calgary Community Paramedics and Foothills PCU for their compassion and support at this time. 

Krys is survived by her daughter Cynthia (Thia) along with extended family residing in British Columbia. Krys was predeceased by her loving husband John, sister Olga, and brother William (Bill). 

She was known for her quick wit, sense of humour, love of animals and nature, chocolate chip cookies, and her loving compassionate nature. 

Krys enjoyed time in nature - especially the mountains, spending time with her loved ones, gardening, and listening to music - Willy Nelson and Andre Boccelli were her favourites. 

In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Cochrane Humane Society. 

At Krys request there will be no service.
