Julia passed away surrounded by her family at the Bethany Care Center in Cochrane, AB on October 28, 2013. She was born in Poland on February 24, 1914. With her husband Stephen they left for France in 1938, where they farmed and their only child Stan was born in 1941. The family immigrated to Canada in 1955 and settled in Calgary. She is lovingly remembered by her son Stan (Marcia), two grandchildren Leanne & Andrew and 1 great granddaughter Chantelle. Julia spent her last 6 years at the Bethany Care Center in Cochrane where she was very content. Special appreciation and thanks to all the nurses & staff at the Bethany for all their care and compassion.
There will be a celebration of Julia’s life at the Bethany Chapel, Cochrane on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. Please join the family afterwards in the private hall for a light snack and to share memories.
