It is with great sadness that we announce the passing, of our beloved sister, sister-in-law, auntie, and friend, Jean.
Jean will be lovingly remembered by her brothers Albert (Iris) of Ottawa and Robert (Frances) of Calgary; her sisters, Elaine (Bob) of Kaslo, Joyce of Calgary, and Betty (Denis) of Cochrane; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Jean was predeceased by her parents, Melvin and Ella, who are waiting to look after Jean once again.
Jean worked at the University of Calgary for over thirty years where she made many life long friends. In her younger years, Jean loved travelling and enjoyed many trips within Canada and abroad. In the past few years, Jean enjoyed her time at the Boardwalk Retirement Community, playing cards and getting to know the many residents.
On Wednesday, March 16, 2016 a celebration of Jean’s life will be held with her family at the Okotoks Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest, with her parents.
