Edee Irene Hudson-Biggar

October 12, 1932 — March 27, 2020

October 12, 1932 – March 27, 2020

Edee was born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan to George and Irene Hudson. She is survived by her children, Kelly, Normajean (Jon), Timothy (Joanne) and Colleen (Don); her grandchildren, Katherine (Rick), Nicholas, Dustin, Derrick, Erin, Leigh, Mark, and Blake; her great grandchildren, Holly, Brooke, Hannah, Grace, Julia, Rachel, and Jacob; her sisters Mary (Jim) and Georgina (Chuck); her brother Bob (Val); and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. She is predeceased by George Biggar, Gordon Biggar, Christine Kinch, and numerous brothers and sisters.

Edee lived a full life.  She was a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, a Bearspaw land developer, and the owner of Lakeview Flowers & Gifts in Calgary. Her artistry showed in all of the beautiful spaces she created at the farm and in her flower shop. Edee was a determined business woman with talents in dancing, singing, piano, sewing and painting. She enjoyed travelling, collecting art and antiques along the way. She spent many hours walking with George and her dog Spencer on the Bow River Pathway.

Mom would always say and sing ‘Our Redeemer Lives’.  Travel safely now and go in the peace of Christ.

Due to current restrictions, a celebration of Edee’s life will be held at a later date.  Announcement will be published here and in the newspapers when confirmed.
