It is with sadness that we announce that on Tuesday morning Floyd passed away at the Foothills Hospital with his family at his side. He will be lovingly remembered by his loving wife of 46 years Iona, his children Diane (Craig), Brenda (Rob), and Brian and his adoring grandchildren Alexandra, Erik, Kate, Matthew, Kari, and Jack. He was predeceased by his oldest daughter Laurie in 1974, his mother, father, three sisters, and one brother. A Celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 4th at 11:00 am at the Cochrane Ranch House, 101 RancheHouse Road. Special thanks to the staff of Dr. Wards office and the Tom Baker Cancer Centre. Because of his love of animals, the family requests donations in Floyd’s memory, be made in lieu of flowers to the Cochrane Humane Society, 62 Griffin Industrial Pt, Cochrane, AB T4C 0A3.
