Evelyn Helena Margaret Murray, nee Cook, passed away at the age of 92 years on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Calgary, Alberta, with family at her side.
Evelyn is survived by her children, grand children, great grand children and great great grandchildren:
Son – Stephen (Terri), Trevor (Jen) Calub and Sydney; Krista (Rob), Kalen
Daughter – Lynn, Boyd (deceased), Kayli (Jeremy) Rorie and Boyd; Julene, Patrick, Jameson and Fraser; Kirk (Cindy), Wyatt, Westin and Grady
Son – Kim (Kelly), Amanda (Jesse), Trinity and Kane; Chandler (Jay)
Daughter – Roberta (Dale), Cory (Stephanie), Kieron and Lily
Daughter – Kristine (Grant) Riley and Dominique.
Her siblings: Lloyd (Kathleen deceased), Gerald (deceased) (Muriel); Earl (Irene); Barry (Shelby); and Charmaine (William deceased).
Evelyn was born in Minnedosa, MB on March 03, 1925. She was married on December 17, 1949 to Harry Stuart Murray (deceased) of Saskatoon, Sk, They raised their family at Marengo, SK.
Evelyn had the honour of serving her country during World War II in a clerical capacity, a position she used throughout her career working with Harry for the two municipalities of Antelope Park and Milton and for the two villages of Marengo and Loverna.
Internment is scheduled for October 14, 2017 at 12:00 pm at the Marengo Cemetery. Evelyn ‘s Celebration of Life will be in the Marengo Hall at 1:00 pm, all friends and family are invited. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
