Heather Jean, 34, of Airdrie, passed away peacefully Saturday, March 14, 2015. Heather, the daughter of the late Victor Dauphinee and Carlann Dauphinee, was born in High River AB and raised in Okotoks and Calgary. Heather most recently was employed as a Service Dispatch Supervisor at Trail Appliances.
Heather will be remembered by her family and friends for her easy laugh, beautiful smile and her uncompromising care and compassion for everyone in her life.
Surviving Heather is the love of her life, daughter Jennifer “Jesse” Dauphinee-Mendelson. She is also survived by her mother Carlann (Graham) Dauphinee of Calgary; sisters Jane (Brad) Dauphinee of Edmonton, and Megan (Jeff) Cameron of Thorndale, ON; nieces and nephews; Morgan, Maia, Connor, Colton, Isabel, Andrew and Finley; and several beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of Heather’s life will be held on March 21, 2015 at the Balzac Community Hall from 1 pm to 3 pm. The family would like to thank the medical team at the South Calgary Health Campus who ensured that Heather was provided compassion and every comfort in her final moments. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Heather’s memory to “Closer To Home” – a not for profit organization devoted to building stronger families through “closertohome.com”.
