It is with deep sadness but with great thankfulness for her life, that the family of Alice Clintberg announces her passing on April 4, 2012. She is now reunited with her beloved Eric who predeceased her in March 1980.
Born in Brandon Manitoba on November 27, 1915, Alice was daughter to William and Elizabeth Walker who moved to the
Boyle area. She married Eric Clintberg in 1936. Alice is predeceased by her brothers Stanley Walker and Ernest Walker, and by her grandson Jay.
Alice’s death is mourned by her sister Evelyn McNeil, sisters-in-law Nanny Walker, Betty Walker and Clary Nelson, sons Ralph (Sarinna) Klintberg, Carl (Jean) Clintberg, Ernest (Linda) Clintberg and Ronald (Judy) Klintberg, seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Her family wishes to thank her caregivers at Bethany Care Centre. Also, special thanks go to MaryAnn Walker, Gordon Walker (predeceased), Carl and Grace Parson, and to Sharon Berthot.
Alice’s life will be celebrated at the All Saints Anglican Church, 4904 – 51 St. in Athabasca Saturday, April 14th at 12:00 noon followed by a luncheon at the Boyle Community Centre at 3:00 p.m. In acknowledging Alice, please make memorial gifts to Bethany Care Society for Cochrane or the Alzheimer’s Society.
