Kay slipped away peacefully in her sleep early on Canada Day at the age of 95 years old. Beloved Mother of Hugh “Bill” and Jim (Dixie), cherished Nana to Greg (Olds, Ab.) and Karen (Houston, Tx.) and great Nana to Peyton (Olds, Ab.) also beloved Aunt to special nieces and nephews.
Kay had a love for life, enjoyed a fun party, dancing and was always ready for a game of cards. Ted and Kay celebrated 55 years of marriage together. They summered in the Cochrane area and wintered in Phoenix, Az. In her later years she resided in the Big Hill Lodge and as the dementia progressed, Kay was transferred to the Bethany Care Center.
She was predeceased by her husband Ted and her only brother Jack TenBroeck.
She will be ever loved and remembered as she soars with the angels.
Memorial Service Friday, July 7th at 4:00 p.m. At the Bethany Care Chapel, Cochrane followed by celebration of life in McQuinty Hall. Dress cool, casual and colourful.
