Celebrating the life of Julian Monrose

Julian Monrose, 59, of Cochrane, Alberta died peacefully on Thursday, November 12, 2020 in his home after a long and hard battle. He was born Thursday Feb 2, 1961 in Laborie, St-Lucia to Mary and Michael Monrose.  He immigrated to Canada in 1974, raised in Ottawa, Ontario but later moved west and settled in Cochrane, Alberta.

He is survived by his mother Mary, his 5 siblings, Peter, Anselm, Aurelia, Denise and Anthony and their families.

A rebel at heart, who fought a good fight to the end and is now at peace.  His determination to live touched us all.  He is described as kind and honest, giving of himself and generous to a fault. He had a great sense of humor and represented the best of us all.

He looked at the world as a place full of possibilities. He achieved remarkable success in the Architectural world.  An intellectual and yet spiritual man, a deep thinker who often found ways to help others.

He will be sorely missed by family, friends and those who’s lives he touched and all who knew him.
