McDADE, Jerome Henry “Jerry”
August 1, 1960 – March 4, 2012
Passed away peacefully on March 4, 2012 surrounded by those who loved him. He will always be remembered for his great sense of humour, fun loving nature, and his commitment to family and friends. Jerry was an incredible husband, and the best dad a kid could have. He loved life and will be missed more than words can express. A celebration of Jerry’s life will take place at the Calgary Rugby Union, 9025 Shepard Road S.E., on Thursday, March 8,2012 at 3:00 pm.. Our family would like to thank Dr. Scot Dowden, and Dr. Dean Ruether for their exceptional care and human touch. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Carcinoid Neuro-Endocrine Cancer Research through cnetscanada.org with a designation to research funding.

I have very fond memories of the time we worked together, my sincerest condolences!
Words seem inadequate to express the sadness we feel about Jerry’s passing. He was such a kind person and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
It is with a great sense of loss that we heard of the passing of our friend Jerry. He was more than a wonderful person and a good friend; always kind and considerate, always there for anyone who needed his help. His passing will leave a void in our lives and hearts.
Our hearts are with you in this time of sorrow.
It is so hard to say goodbye. Our friendship has lasted through the years and Jerry will always be part of my life. The laughter and good times we shared… and the family times, mine and yours, are fond memories. I was honored to be your friend, to be a part of your life from your single days… to meeting your wonderful wife… to watching your children grow into young men. Thank you for your friendship. You fought a strong battle over the years and we were all, in our own way, preparing ourselves for this day… as did you. Now the pain and suffering are gone. Watch over us. Our prayers are with Anita, Evan, Cody and Kyle and your entire family. Be strong and look forward to the day when we will all meet again.
Sending light, love and peace to you all Anita. My thoughts and prayers are with you in you time of sorrow. Rest Peacefully Jerry.
Anita, Julie and the entire family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Even though it’s probably been more than 15 years since I’ve seen Jerry at one of the infamous superbowl parties, I do remember his smile and his kindness. He was a special guy who will be missed by many, especially those who loved him. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
