We are so sorry to hear about your dad. The few times we met him we really enjoyed his company. We are so glad he got to experience being a grandfather, and that Jenelle got to know him as a daughter in-law. We are thinking of you and praying for you during this time.
With love,

Sonja,
We’re so sorry to hear of your dad’s passing. We really enjoyed seeing him and hearing his stories when he visited the island. I’ll always remember carving pumpkins after George was born and his excitement for being a grandpa was infectious. We’re thinking of you and your family and sending all our love.

Sonja, Willy, Remy,
We were very saddened to hear of Emanual’s passing. We always thought of him as a “straight up kind of guy.”
I first met him when he arrived from Denmark at John and Patty’s all those years ago.
It was an honour to have known Emanual.
Our condolences go out to your families and all who called him friend.

Remy, Sonja and Willy, I am so sorry to hear that Emanuel has passed away. I will remember him as a sharp businessman, a kind father and a friend with a great sense of humor. May your memories of Emanuel comfort you.
It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to Emmanuel. He was such a big part of our lives growing up. I will always treasure the memories that we all made together – dinners at the Danish Club, Halloween, those giant tubs of ice cream he used to let us get, the car lot… and many more. He was a very generous man with an infectious laugh to go with his great big smile. Our condolences Sonja, Willy, and family. Our prayers are with you.

Dear Remy, Sonja and Willy,
I was so shocked to learn about Emanuel’s passing today. I just can’t believe it, and am so sorry for all of you. I met Emanuel in 1981, when he owned the house I lived in. At that time, he was, as a sideline, buying Volvos, fixing them up, and selling them for a small profit. We spent many lovely times at the Danish Canadian Club. I remember when Willy was born. He was thrilled to be a father. He was so proud of you both, Sonja and Willy, and loved you SO much. Remy, when I met up with Emanuel in Kingston, years ago, when Sonja graduated from RMC, he said he was so happy with you, and that you were a wonderful person. I just thought he would always be here, and even though we didn’t speak often, I always think of Emanuel with deep affection. There is a hole where he used to be. Again, my deepest condolences to you.

Dear Sonja, Willy and Remy
I still am in shock for the loss of Emmanual. He was my life time friend. I remember how he took me in as his extended family. He helped me out so much with my vehicles. Always said I was too hard on them lol He taught me how to race Volvo’s. Emmaual was one of the most amazing father friend and family man. I remember dancing around the tree at Christmas going to The Danish Canadian Club. I tried teaching him to dance country but he dislike the music. He even took my nephew out for his 18th birthday. Lila was with us too. I am so glad I got to have him as my friend. I will so miss u. Till I see you again. Hugs to everyone
