Emanuel Jorgen Maul, or “Mr. Maul” as many knew him by, passed away on December 14th, 2017, at the age of 69. He was the third child of Marie and Egon Maul, and was born on September 11th, 1948 in Vildbjerg, Denmark. In 1972, Mr. Maul arrived in Canada making it his new home for the next 45 years.

Mr. Maul had a passion for cars and eventually became the president and owner of Heritage Auto Sales Ltd, making his mark on the Calgary auto industry. He was involved in many different sports car organizations and loved to show off his skills on the track, especially competing against his corvette friends.

His life was always fast and furious, his laughter contagious, and his heart full of immense generosity for his family and friends.

Mr. Maul is survived by his wife, Remy; children, Willy and Sonja; son-in-law, Braden; daughter-in-law, Jenelle; and his precious grandson, George. Mr. Maul will also forever be remembered by his brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.

A funeral service in memory of Mr. Maul will take place on

Wednesday, December 20th, 2017 at 2:00 pm

at the Cochrane Cemetery located at Range Road 42, Cochrane, AB. A church service and reception will follow at

4:00 pm

at the Danish Lutheran Church located at

210 10 Avenue NE, Calgary, AB
