LAMBERT, Kelly Leroy

January 7, 1963 – April 20, 2019
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Kelly Leroy Lambert.
Kelly was born the middle son to Gordon and Hilda Lambert in Calgary, Alberta on January 07, 1963. He grew up on the Lambert family farm with his two brothers just outside of Cochrane. After attending both Westbrook School and Cochrane High School, Kelly went on to work in a number of jobs before finding his position at Burnco Rock Products, which he held for 17 years.
Kelly is survived by his mother Hilda; his children, Madison and Braeden; his two brothers, John (Nancy) and Mike; and his three nieces, Jenna, Stacey and Isla. He is predeceased by his father Gordon Lambert, who passed away in 2012.
Kelly was never afraid to get in a little trouble and will always be remembered for his vibrant smile, quick wit and stubbornness.
A Celebration of Kelly’s Life will be held at 1:30 pm on Thursday May 02, 2019 at the Cochrane Legion (114 Fifth Ave, Cochrane, AB). Visitors are welcome to join and pay their respects to Kelly, and the rest of the Lambert family.

Dear Hilda John and Mike and family so sad to hear about your loss keep the good memories close and remember the fun times.
August, 1982, Kelly, Matt and myself entered a tattoo studio in Calgary to seek our first ever tattoo. As tough as we pretended to be, it wasn’t till sometime later that Kelly and I would confess it hurt like heck. We both ended up with eagles on our arms.To me my tattoo represented “Freedom” Freedom to do what ever we wanted in this life. As young men we were ready to take on the world, and we did just that.
Now my tattoo has even more significance….You will never be forgoten Kelly.
It’s with heavy hearts that we give condolences to you for Kelly. I’ve always felt like the Lambert boys were like brothers to me . I regret to say that I won’t be able to attend Kelly’s celebration of life as I am out of town working but Colleen and Matthew will be there.
Sorry for your loss, To his children and Mother Hilda.such a shock.Sending our Love

I worked with Kelly at BURNCO for 17 years, he was one of the good guys and he will be missed.
Sending you all my deepest condolences
I worked with Kelly at Burnco. He in Calgary and I in Edmonton. I remember we were sent up to Ft Mac to get a portable concrete plant running. Kelly was a great guy and we had a lot of laughs on that job. He was extremely intelligent, loved to smile, loved to joke around and was an all-round great guy. I didn’t see him often as we worked in different cities but I will always remember him. Condolences to the family.
“Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice and come out—those who have done what is good will rise to live”
to all the Lambert family. We were so sorry to hear of Kelly’s passing. Are thoughts are with you
It is with a heavy heart that I send my sincere condolences to the Lambert family.
Kelly was a person I called a college and friend while working with him while in Calgary working for BURNCO. Over the years working with Kelly we worked close together on many projects, learned together at many conferences and someone to be reckoned with during noon hour workouts. Kelly had this unique humor about him that could only make you laugh and smile. Kelly you will be missed.
Please accept our sincere condolences. I worked with Kelly at BURNCO in dispatch for almost 10 years. Kelly was a great guy and a friend. He will be dearly missed.
My sincere condolences to all of the family.
Our condolences for the loss of Kelly. A father, a son, a brother.
Thoughts and prayers to his family.
