In loving memory – Charles Hupkes of Cochrane, AB passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2023 with family by his side. He was born on August 30, 1945 and lived near Bottrel and in Cochrane, AB.
Charles had a personal relationship with Jesus, and it was evident in the love and care he gave to those around him. He will be remembered for his smile, sense of humor, and gentle spirit by his family and friends. He is predeceased by his parents, sister Bertha, and sister-in-law Maureen. He is survived by his siblings Gerrit, Henry, and Geurdina, their spouses and many nephews and nieces and their children.
The Memorial Service will be held at Bow Valley Baptist Church, 54 W Aarsby Rd., Cochrane, AB on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 2:00 pm. Flowers are gratefully declined.

My family was blessed to have had a long, wonderful friendship with Charlie. I am so terribly sorry to hear of his passing. Charlie was a beloved light in the community and will be greatly missed. My sincerest condolences to his family and all that loved him.

I am so sorry for your loss. Charles was such a wonderful man with a huge smile and a gentle spirit. I will miss him deeply.
I have many fond memories of Charles and his Brothers and Sisters as we spent many hours together. I am sorry that our lives had us drift apart but then lately we were reunited again a few years ago. Please accept my deepest Condolences to all the Hupkes Family.

I met Charlie only once but have heard on many occasions of the quiet but tremendous blessing he was to the Hupkes family. May God comfort you & inspire many with the wonderful legacy Charlie leaves.
