Joannie, you had a tremendous impact on my life. You were my favourite cousin ever since I can remember. Thanks for all the good you taught me, mostly to laugh. I will never forget you ever.
My heart is so sad , but I know you had no regrets, as you told me exactly that a month ago. You and I go way back and we sure did create some fantastic memories together! I will always be so grateful to you for so many reasons!!! I hope this new journey for you is fulfilling and that we do get to meet up with love ones on the other side. It gives me some comfort to picture you bouncing around on clouds with loved family members..lol…I hope that Moose, Slug & brother John were there to meet you!!! Plus all your past fur babies and of course your cherished girlfriends who left before you!!! Luv ya Tink, your friendship was a real gift to me!!!

Saddened to hear of Joans passing. Condolences to you Teresa. Missed our visits while getting her hair done since she moved West. Always looked forward to her visit, she was so entertaining to talk with and I appreciated her tell it like it is stories . She was truly an amazing woman and I feel blessed to have had her in my life! Thinking of you Teresa. RIP Joan ❤️
Dennis and Theresa. I have many memories of Joan. I remember her being an absolutely devoted friend to Marlene Scharf. A great Mum to Dennis even when he drove the mini bike into the back of Jim’s truck the first time he drove it. I remember her support when I was having mental health issues. The friendship she showed our children and then later to my two grand boys when she moved back to La Riviere. She will be missed by many. May your many memories help you through this difficult time.

Joan was a dear friend to my mother in love Nancy who passed away at the end of March. They were soul tied, when they met they hit it off instantly. They went on short road trips, dressed up like hippies for a 70’s concert, walked together and laughed a lot. Joan became a part of our family and would always have a gift for Kyra and Ben. The love and concern she had for Nancy will never be forgotten. I am sure that Nancy was there to greet her at Heaven’s gate and that they will be laughing together again. My heartfelt prayers and condolences to your entire family. I pray your memories of your time together bring you a smile and comfort.
