HARMESON, Arlene Mary
July 4, 1935 – February 4, 2023
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved Arlene on Saturday February 4, 2023 at the Strathmore Hospital at the age of 87 years, after a brief illness.
Arlene was born in Gull Lake, SK to Inez and Emanuel Tetzloff and moved to Calgary at a young age. In 1956 she married Clayton and together they lived on a farm near Langdon, AB and raised their family. She was a wonderful homemaker who loved gardening, cooking, baking, and sewing. She was a kind and generous person and was loved by everyone who met her.
More than anything Arlene was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and she will be deeply missed by her husband of 67 years, Clayton; her children, Sandy and Graham (Michelle), and her granddaughter Abby. She is also survived by her brothers Gerry, Brian, Bill and Dennis. She was predeceased by her parents, her mother and father-in-law, her son Gene, her sister Katie and her brother George.
The family sends their deepest thanks to Nancy, Arlene’s very close friend who was always there for her.
In keeping with Arlene’s wishes there will be no funeral. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Stars Air Ambulance.
Arrangements entrusted to Flo Simpson, Funeral Director

My condolences to the Harmeson and Tetzloff families. I have vague memories of Smokey and Arlene’s house in Albert Park.
