HANNA, David George
January 29, 1933 – September 29, 2021
With great sadness we announce the passing of David Hanna of Cochrane, Alberta on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at the age of 88.
David was born in Calgary, Alberta. He retired from AGT after 37 years of service. David was a long-time member of Masonic Order as well as a member of the Alazhar Mounted Patrol. David and his wife Doreen moved to the Cochrane area in 1990 raising miniature donkeys and horses. David became involved in many committees in the community.
David is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Doreen; sisters, Betty King, and Pat Craig; sons-in-law, Dr. Robert Bray of Calgary, and Ken Iredale of Cochrane; six grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. David was predeceased by his daughters, Donna Iredale in July 2019, and Deborah Bray in August 2019.
A Funeral Service will be held at St. Andrew’s United Church, 128 1st St. E. Cochrane, Alberta on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. Please follow Covid-19 guidelines when attending the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cochrane and Area Humane Society www.cochranehumane.ca.

I recall with fondness the years that David sang in the choir at St. Andrews United Church. He loved his music and he always had a story to tell. Condolences to you all.

Dear Doreem & Family> I was saddened to hear of David’s passing. I have great memories of our days at the AMP, and the fun we had at the cattle pennings and Wednesday night suppers. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this sad time.

So sorry to hear of Daves passing , only just heard. He was such a great father to Deb and I have many memories of conversations with him. He was such a kind man. He will be missed . Hugs to Doreen and family.
