GORDON, Kerstin
August 27, 1926 – May 14, 2011

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Kerstin, on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at the age of 84.
Born Kerstin Lundmark, daughter of Hugo and Signe Lundmark in Skelleftea, Sweden, she immigrated with her family to Canada in 1928.
Predeceased by her brother Hubert Lundmark , son Terry Gordon and loving husband Neil Gordon, Kerstin is survived by her sister Gunvor Greer of Kelowna, daughters Lisa Gordon and Jane Reilly, sons Loch and Gregg (Cheryl) Gordon, grandsons Dylan and Danny, Colton and Cody, and Michael.
The Gordons’ raised their family first in Calgary and then Bragg Creek, co-founding the Bragg Creek Shopping Centre and eventually settling in Redwood Meadows until Neil’s passing in 2008.
Kerstin will always be remembered as an avid gardener, lover of music, fabulous cook and hostess , and loving mother with a zest for life.
A Memorial Service and Celebration of Kerstin’s life will be held at
the Bragg Creek Community Centre, 23 White Avenue, Bragg Creek, Alberta
on Friday, May 27, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. If friends so desire,Charitable donations may be made in her honour, directly to The Canadian Cancer Society, 200 – 325 Manning Road N.E., Calgary, AB.
