GORDON, David Andrew

September 13, 1955 – October 25, 2019

David Andrew Gordon of Calgary passed away on October 25, 2019 at the age of 64 years. He was the only child of Thomas (Tom) Gordon and Yvonne Angus. He grew up in Toronto, Ontario. When he was 18 years old, he moved to Calgary for a job. He worked in the oil and gas industry and the hospitality industry. He joined the Calgary Fire Department in 1989 and worked there until he retired in 2015. He married the love of his life Carolyn Cardinal from Kikino, AB and had two daughters, Robyn Marie Gordon (Dave Phillipson) and Michelle May Gordon (Mark Fraser), and one son Christopher “Chris” Edward Gordon (Carmen Gordon). He was blessed with the arrival of eight grandchildren, Christa and Jett, Evie, Jared, Zaina, Marissa, Athena and Artie; new friendships; happiness; and good health. He loved his sisters Debbie (Alvin McKay), Verona (Cal Thomas), and Loretta (Sheldon Whitford), his mom Violet Cardinal and dad Louis Cardinal, and many nieces and nephews. We would like to thank all those people who enriched my husband’s life over the years. Dave was truly loved by many.
