    Dear Iona and family,
We were very sorry to hear of your loss. Floyd was a wonderful man and one of the first people we had the pleasure of meeting when we first arrived in Canada over 8 years ago. He had quite the sense of humor and was well known for making everyone laugh with his jokes. We will miss him a lot, he was a great man. Our thoughts are very much with you Iona.
All our love, Nicky, Dean and Alessia

Oh how I am saddened to learn of Floyd’s passing! I cannot stop shaking and crying it is such devastating news! He was so kind, so loving, so passionate about his family, particularly his shining eye as he called her, Diane….my heart goes out to all who have loved Floyd and who now have a huge crater hole in their hearts, for, if they have loved Floyd and can no longer, they will always have a monstrous gap in their lives that will never close up. I will give to the Humane Society until it hurts, I will sell my stereo to get more money to give, for Floyd would wish the doggies and the kitties to be safe and sound instead of us relishing in our own creature comforts. The Rebbe will await him, the Pastor will await him, Glorious Ya’alla will await with the welcoming arms, for Floyd was one of a kind, and my world will never be the same without him.

    Dear Iona and Family,

I am truly saddened to hear of this news. Some of my fondest memories of Cochrane came after I met Floyd. In the short time I knew Floyd he left an indelible impression on my life. When I first ventured into the plumbing business, Floyd helped me in ways no person ever did. His mentorship is something I will always remember. But more than that I will remember his sense of humour, laugh and smile. I am extremely proud and grateful to have known Floyd for the short time I did. My condolences to you and your family.
