FENTON, Dennis Earl

September 27, 1940 – July 22, 2023

With deep sadness we announce that Dennis Fenton passed away peacefully at the Rockyview Hospital in Calgary, AB on July 22, 2023.

In his younger years Dennis enjoyed camping and could always be found busy working in his garage, garden or yard. You could always find him at the Cochrane Labour Day Rodeo every year. As his health started to fail, he spent his days sitting in the living room window, waving at all who walked, drove or biked past his house.

Left to mourn his passing are his sister, Linda (Ray) Graff; his four children, Joyce (Guy) Westlin, Robert (Alice) Fenton, Diane (Maurice) Laforce, and Melissa Fenton; his good friend Shirley Alexandre and her children Stacy (Luke) Bressler, Brian Alexandre, Ron (Patty) Alexandre; as well as many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Dennis was predeceased by his parents Mary and Earl Fenton and brother Ron Fenton.

As per Dennis’s wishes no service will be held. A special thanks to everyone who made his day a little brighter with a smile, wave, handmade cards from children, and gifts over the years.
