DOLEN, Louise Elizabeth
July 21, 1957 – December 22, 2021
It is with the utmost sincere gratitude, and with the deepest of love, that we all say Thank You. Thank you Louise Dolen. Thank you for all that you are and everything that you were. Thank you for being such a shimmering light in this world. You touched the hearts and souls of all the lives you encountered. Your heart was limitless, and you gave without any thought or reservation to anyone that needed it, be it a stranger, a neighbour, a friend or family. Unfortunately, that precious heart and ever so enduring light gave out. It with the most heaviest of hearts that we must announce Louise Dolen, so graciously and so peacefully, passed away on Wednesday December 22, 2021. She went home to be with her son Trevor, whom she loved and missed dearly. She will forever be a light and forever be missed.
Louise was born on July 21, 1957 to her loving parents Lloyd and Norma Dolen in Cochrane Alberta. She lived her life in the Calgary area, where she raised with all her love, her 3 boys; Scott, Trevor, and Brad. She excelled in her passion as an award-winning Realtor and was a pillar in her community. She helped countless families find that perfect house that they could call home. She was the most loving friend, neighbour, sister, aunt, daughter, mother and grandmother (Grannie). She loved her family with every essence of her heart.
Louise leaves behind her two sons, Scott and Brad Benner; her daughters-in-law, Khanh, Kaitlynn and Karmen; her one and only sister, Linda Dolen; her nephews, Rodney and Nygel Dolan; and her precious grandchildren, Sheena, Kadin, Willow, Deklen, Logan, Bastian, Ashton, and Aurora. Her light and legacy will shine on forever through them.
Once again we say, Thank you Louise. Thank you with all our hearts for being such a beautiful soul, for being our Mom, and most importantly, for being our best friend. You will forever be a part of our souls, always and forever.
A celebration of life will be held for Louise at a later date.

Michael and I were very saddened by your mother’s unexpected departure. She was so much a part of our lives while all “her boys” were growing up. She cared deeply for her sons and her son’s friends which she called her boys. We have great memories of her and those memories can’t be taken away.
We hope with time the pain will be gone and you will be left with wonderful memories.
Sincerely,
Michael and Lorraine

So deeply sorry for your loss.
Louise was an amazing person whom made everyone feel home at her house. I was just a friend of Sheena’s but she treated me like I was part of the family. I remember like it was yesterday how we made Ginger bread houses, celebrated Halloween and played hide and seek in her basement. She always made me feel welcome and I’m very thankful for those memories.. It’s terrible to hear about your loss and I express my sincere sympathy to you and your family.
Our family mourns the loss of Louise a light and friend to all of us. We are sending love to her family and we wish we could gather to support and hug each other. With lots of love, Jamie, Auntie Carole and family
I’ve known Louise since I started in Real Estate 19 years ago. She was always kind to me, we had many good laughs over all things Real Estate. Someone I always admired, and her kindness to others was immense. My deepest condolences to the entire family.
We would like to pass on our condolences to the family of Louise. She was not only a fantastic Realtor who helped us purchase our home here in Airdrie back in 1994.
She was also a great friend, helped our daughter purchase her home in Calgary as well, such a shock, we thought she would live forever.
Whenever we invited her to a home party or just for a visit, she would come whenever she could fit us in.
Rest in peace Louise, gone but not forgotten.
Bernie and Alwyn Charlesworth,
Airdrie ab.
I was and am heartbroken to know that I will never have more time with my friend Louise. We had many many deep talks, lots of laughts and reminiscing about when we partnered in Real Estate together and all the smooth and bumpy rides in our lives. The last time we had coffee we were crying and laughing and feeling that we were so lucky to have walked a long path together. I will always consider her one of the best people I’ve known. She was forgiving, non-judgemental and I could count on her no matter what. She was there for me when few others were and I believe Louise is one of the few people who received her wings the moment her spirit moved on. My heart goes out to all of Louise’s family and friends as there is a vacant space on this earth that can never be filled, now that she is gone. I also believe with all my heart her family and Trevor were waiting to embrace her when she crossed over and that they needed her with them and we will meet again.
10 years ago I met Louise, she was my Real Estate agent, she became a friend. She was devoted to her family, the epitome of a loving mother, they always came first.
I will miss you my friend.

My deepest sympathy to Louise’s family. I was very shocked to see her obituary. I met Louise at Westbrook school over 50 years ago. I am so sorry to hear she is gone. Hugs to her family.
