DALE, Frank Robert (Bob)
June 8, 1934 – July 4, 2023
On July 4th, 2023, Bob passed away peacefully in Cochrane, AB at the age of 89. Bob is survived by his wife Phyllis; his son Guy (Kim); his daughter Gay; his grandchildren, Cody, Jordan (Belinda), Craig (Meg), and Kylie (Mark) and great-grandchildren, Quinn and Malia; and his brother John (Loralee).
Bob was born in Saskatoon, SK and married Phyllis on October 4th, 1958 in Winnipeg, MB. They moved to Calgary, AB in 1962 to raise their children while enjoying camping, skiing, traveling and golfing. They were both active members of the Alpine Ski Club and Bob also enjoyed years of being a Golf Marshall at the Kananaskis Country Golf Club.
No memorial service or funeral is planned. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to Diabetes Canada.

You are now at peace and you will live on forever in our hearts. We love you so much. Rest in peace.

Our condolences go out to Guy’s family and friends. Mr. Dale was one of the “Cool” dads on our street and was friends with my dad.I remember Mr. Dale helping Guy to work on his Chevy Nova,always had good advice. I was invited and had a great time with Guy and his family at Pine Lake one summer,waterskiing and just having fun. He will be missed. Rest in peace Mr. Dale.

Growing up next door, Bob and Phyllis were always the kind, patient neighbour parents.
Not only was Bob was welcoming to the hordes of youngsters on Button Rd, he always had a smile for everyone
and seemingly limitless patience.
Truly a fine human being, he will always Be remembered as a warm fellow, and a considerate man that showed
An interest in those that he knew.
