BUCKLEY, Harvey John
October 4, 1932 – July 19, 2016
With many cherished memories, Harvey is survived by his wife of 59 years, Margaret, children John and Tracy Buckley, Bruce and Trish Buckley, Carolyn and Dwayne Walker, grandchildren Trevor and Sandra Buckley, Eric Buckley and Robyn Gillard, Jessica Walker and Justin Mooers, Ryan Walker, Alex Buckley, and Mollie Buckley, great-grandson Finn Buckley, and twin brother Clarence Buckley and family.
Harvey ranched his entire life west of Calgary. He was involved in many organizations over his lifetime and had an insatiable passion for conserving rangeland, be it through grazing management or quelling urban sprawl.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Bow Valley Baptist Church (54 West Aarsby Road, Cochrane, AB) on Thursday, August 04, 2016 at 1:30 pm.

John & Tracy and family we are saddended to hear of Harvey’s passing. Every time I had the pleasure of crossing his path he was always so jovial and positive. He was always ready for a great and passionate discussion on any issues of the day especially agriculture and land use. Your community and the agricultural industry has lost a great leader and spokesperson. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of your families.
