She had the ability to touch and capture your heart with enduring empathy. Loving unconditionally and consistently.
Supporting so many in her magical ways; exemplifying love and strength. Tender yet strong.
Fairy godmother to children. Especially her grandchildren where her purity radiated. Protector and champion of the innocent and vulnerable.
Her thirst for adventure. Her fearless exploration of life in the determined way she wanted to live. A graceful balance of strong will and compassion.
She has transcended the physical world to carry on her mission in more powerful ways than ever possible. She is free and her work continues. As the eagle soars high above, her spirit is much stronger than it could be before.
Dearest Martha. You will be missed. We will cherish your wisdom and magic. We remember you laughing, radiant and gorgeous. We remember you smiling, dancing and free.
A Ceremony to Honour Martha’s Life will be held at the Birkett Ranch (272240 Grand Valley Road, Cochrane, AB) on Wednesday, September 09, 2020. Viewing will commence at 11:00 am with the ceremony starting promptly at 12:00 noon. Those attending are invited to wear white or light coloured clothing to honour that Light that is Martha. We also invite you to bring your favourite flower to leave for Martha that we will spread on the land that she loved. A private family interment will take place at Cochrane Cemetery, following the ceremony.
