It is with joy and sorrow, the family of Dorothy Montgomery, announces that she has run the race for 96 years and crossed the finish line.
Mom is lovingly remembered by her children; Richard (Carol), Raymond (Helen), Allan (Ev), Don (Bev), Neil, Dawna (Russ), and Jeanne (Neil), 32 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her 7 siblings; Fred (Vi), Ray, Lewis (Blanche), Vi, Bob (Margaret), Harry (Shirley), and Betty (Howard), as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends.
Predeceased by her children; Jim, Elaine, & Joy, and her husbands Cecil Myram in 1952 and John Montgomery in 1997.
A graveside service will be held at the Cochrane Cemetery on Monday June 10, 2013 at 12:00 p.m., followed by a Memorial Service later Monday afternoon, at 2:00 p.m. at the Cremona Country Fellowship Church, turn East into the Village of Cremona off the 22 highway, and take the second left (1st Street), across from the post office.
