September 17, 1981 – August 21, 2018

Unexpectedly, after a brief illness, Andrew Allison Garfield Knox passed away peacefully in Calgary, AB., on Tuesday, August 21, 2018, at the age of 36. Born in Saint John, NB., he is the son of Allison Knox of Plaster Rock, NB., and Terry (Garfield) Knox of Grand Bay-Westfield, NB.

Along with his mother Terry, father Allison and step-mom Melanie, Andrew is survived by his long-time love, Carmen Turner; sisters Kerry and Jason Balemans of Fort MacMurray, AB and Virginia Knox of Calgary, AB; his step-brother Danny and Crystal Smith of St. Stephen, NB; his nieces and nephews Darhyl Balemans, Theo Knox-Amedee and Ayden, Ava and Addison Smith; many aunts, uncles and cousins and dear family friends Barry Herbert and the Skitch family.

In addition to both sets of grandparents, Andrew was predeceased by his niece Kayla Balemans and his uncle Leigh Knox.

Growing up, Andrew was a comical little boy who always got along well with others. He attended schools in Grand Bay and the City. He worked for Carpenter’s Fish Farm and also in other fishery positions over the years along with his dad.  He worked briefly at Tabufile for his uncle and spent several years in the roofing and construction industry out West.  Andrew had a passion for old cars, antiques and motorcycles and he could not resist a garage sale or auction where he could hunt for treasures.  He also loved to fish and had many wonderful trips to the camp with his father.  Andrew loved his family dearly and adored his nieces and nephews.  He was a loving, kind and generous young man who will be deeply missed.
