Rose Marie Forget passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 15, 2016 with her husband by her side. Her battle with cancer is finally over. She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her husband of 28 years Gary and her children; Wendy Lee Burke (Griffiths) and husband Scott, Jason Christopher Paul Griffiths and wife Cindy (Wark); her 4 grandchildren, Mathew, Megan, Nathan and Christopher; her mother Dora (Rosie) Avram, brother Lee Avram and wife Joan. Marie was predeceased by her father Paul (Pavel) Avram (2001) and sister Denise Skilton (2015). Marie was born in Avonlea, Saskatchewan and moved to Windsor, Ontario at a young age. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing at Sutton Creek Country Club. Marie retired from the Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital and in 2013 she and Gary moved to Cochrane, Alberta. Cremation has taken place and her ashes will be laid to rest in Windsor, Ontario at a later date. Marie’s family would like to thank Dr. Sharma and the wonderful staff at the Dulcina Hospice for the special care they gave Marie.
